Our fourth mosaic story walk, A Day at the Beach, is finished and hanging on the fence. In the courtyard of the new West Branch Public Library in Somerville, MA. Walk along and follow the story as a beach ball rolls through some adventures in the sand. Also find some hidden treasures in each panel such as a star fish or a clam shell. This particular one of our mosaic story walks was designed with the early childhood science curriculum strand, force and motion, in mind. Watch what the ball does as it moves across flat beach or up and over small hills. Some good inspiration for spontaneous talking science with your child companion.
